Studio Visit Policy

Lagoon Street Studio is a working artist’s studio and visits are available by appointment only.

Studio visits are generally scheduled from April onwards, Requests should be made well in advance and include:

A brief introduction

The reason for the visit

Relevant professional context (where applicable)

Due to work commitments and limited availability, I’m unable to accommodate short-notice requests or drop-in visits, and not all requests can be facilitated.

Studio visits are intended for those with a specific professional interest in the work, such as curators, writers, collectors, and fellow artists.

Alongside my own practice, I have developed an artist-led residency initiative based at Lagoon Street Studio, offering short-term, flexible stays with studio access and on-site accommodation in Faro.

The residency is conceived as a space for studio-based research, reflection, dialogue, and peer exchange, rather than production-led outcomes. There is no expectation of a public exhibition, open studio, or fixed result during the residency period.

The programme has a particular focus on Irish and Portuguese artists, while also welcoming international practitioners whose work aligns with the ethos of the studio. Residencies are offered on a limited and selective basis.

Visiting artists are asked to make a nominal contribution towards utilities and shared costs.

This is currently a pilot programme, and availability is limited.

To enquire or register interest, please email with a brief outline of your practice and proposed timeframe.
